Why documents stall

Many people reply to WhatsApp faster than email. Offer both and let the reminder go where the signer replies.
Space reminders around the deadline
A first nudge after a few days, another midway, and a last one shortly before the link expires usually does the job.
Stop the moment it's signed
Nothing frustrates a signer more than a reminder after they have finished. Automatic reminders should stop on completion.
Make it easy to ask
Add a short note on who to contact with questions. Often the delay is one unanswered question.
