How signing with Mayeer works and what the signer agrees to.

Last updated:

This notice explains how electronic signing works in Mayeer. Before signing, each signer is asked to agree to sign and receive records electronically; the wording they accept, in their language, is stored with the signed record.

3. Identity verification

The sender chooses the checks each signer must pass. These include access through the signer's personal link and confirmation of a one-time code sent to the signer's email address. The checks completed are written to the audit trail.

4. The signing record

Mayeer records each step: when the document was sent, opened and viewed, the consent given, the verification completed, the signature applied, and the IP address and device details at each step. When everyone has signed, the document is sealed with a digital seal and a completion certificate showing the trail, with Hijri and Gregorian dates. Any later change to the sealed document can be detected, and anyone can check a certificate on the verification page.

5. Copies and withdrawal

Each signer receives a copy of the completed document by email and can download it again from the link while the sender keeps it available. A signer may withdraw consent before signing by declining; this does not affect signatures already given.

6. Requirements

Signing needs a current web browser and an email address the signer can access. If you cannot sign electronically, contact the sender.
